Review by hotel critic
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Exeter Inn, and let me tell you, it’s a gem perfectly situated for those who appreciate both leisure and charm! The historic vibes of the building truly set a romantic backdrop for my trip. The staff were exceptionally friendly, ensuring I felt right at home the moment I walked in. I was particularly impressed with the beautifully appointed accommodations, blending classic style with modern luxury—those crisp linens? An absolute delight after a long day of exploring the local antique shops and cafes with friends! Plus, having a cozy restaurant on-site was a game changer; I enjoyed some gourmet dining at Epoch Restaurant, showcasing seasonal ingredients that tickled my taste buds. The location is ideal, an easy stroll from the quaint shops and charming downtown, letting us soak in the quintessential New England culture. And can I just say, the morning coffee in the lobby complemented our adventures nicely? The Exeter Inn offered an exquisite balance of comfort and style, making it a fantastic spot for anyone looking to unwind and explore the captivating surroundings.
